Our training philosophy of discipleship of the head, heart, and hand. By this, our students and trainees are equipped with knowledge of God’s word and ministry, a passionate heart for the gospel and a hand equipped with readiness for selfless service to God and humanity.
At LEMA, we know that all ministers are not like the apostle Peter who preached one sermon and thousands got saved. Hence, like the apostle Paul, we prepare our students to have at least one self-employment skill in Agriculture or technology so that they can earn God honoring incomes while building up their churches.

We recruit qualified indigenes to lead our ministries in each country. We also recruit indigenous teaching staff who are qualified to train others. We complement their teachings with expertise from other parts of the world using online technology and onsite teaching by visiting professors from around the world. Through this approach, our trainings are locally relevant as well as responsive to the needs of Christianity worldwide. Our goal is that each LEMA ministry will be 100% indigene led and self-sustaining.
As a school for Christ, LEMA is seen as the presence of Christ in the community. Just as Christ ministered to the spiritual and physical needs of the community where he stayed, LEMA is committed to being the presence of Christ in every community where we operate. Hence, LEMA General library in Nigeria is open to the public and so far the only public library in Mbaitoli, a community of about 200,000 residents. LEMA General Library offers different programs for community kids that encourage readership, Computer literacy and bible Knowledge. In addition to this, during Covid, LEMA provided palliatives to the host community in Ofekata Orodo. After Covid, LEMA provided small funds for Widows and for Youth to start small businesses. In the US, LEMA through its prayer arm, the Kingdom Prayer Partners continues to promote prayers in churches as well as provide sermon notes and other resources that encourage spiritual growth.
